After an extensive and successful career in tertiary education and especially the Medical University of Southern Africa, Ps Carel Berndt and his wife Mariët have been involved and serving the Hatfield family since 1983 and was ordained as Senior Pastors couple of Hatfield Christian Church North in January 2003.
Ps Carel currently serves on the national core leader’s team of The Christian Network (TCN), an umbrella network of about 200 churches. He is currently the regional leader of the Gauteng Province and also the Gauteng station leader where more than 80 senior pastors, pastors and religious leaders and functionaries are related to him. Ps Carel has traveled extensively and has served the Lord in various countries of the world.
